L and A

So, this is my drawing of L from and Aura (aka A)
Most people dont know Aura, possibly because she came right from my mind. ^^'
Aura is somehow my addition to my own Death Note story, which is a mix of the feature films 'Death Note', 'Death Note: The last name' and 'L change the word' plus the anime.
In the movies, the story is quite different from the one in the series. L is able to defeat Kira himself by writing his own name in one Death Note so that he shall die in 23 days. That's why Rem wasnt able to kill him because a person can only die once and as you know from the rules the first entry into a death note counts.
So he defeated Kira and has 20 more days to live. In this time he meets and saves a little boy, he named Near later.

And that's where Aura comes into play. In my little 'fanfiction' he doesnt only meet Near, but also her who is Near's twin sister. Also her name 'Aura' was given by L himself and he chose that name because he couldnt resist the feeling that she was somehow always shining. Even if L is quite clumsy in dealing with children, there is a very special relationship between L and Aura from the beginning (as between L and Near too of course!) As you see her look is based on Near's look in the anime, in which he is white haired, not black haired like in the movies.

So...L spends his left days with both of them and carries them to Watari's orphanage shortly before he dies...

Oh and incidentally...Just like L is addicted to candy and Near loves to play with toys, Aura is obsessed by plushies.
